Ariana Cheng - Chimin

Ariana Cheng (former Li O'Hara) better known as Cheng Chimin or simply CHIMIN. Is the big sister of Xing Sun O'Hara even though her family cut the contact with her because she was "the daughter they never wanted". She started doing drugs when she was only 13 years old and her drug abuse only got bigger after Xing came out, she felt so betrayed of her own family that they could support Xing in her transition but not support her to help get her out of her drug abuse. The day Ariana turned 18 was the worst day of her life she got kicked out of her parents, her father wasn't as heartless as her mother so even though she was kicked out he gave her a old and gross van so she had a place to live, after she was kicked out she got longer down and her drug abuse became worse. She sold the van while she was high and used the money to get a one way ticket to South Korea when she waked up in Seoul it was a bit of a shock for her! But it was just what she wanted. She had actually dreamt of it for a long time and had in secret learnt Korean. This was her chance at a fresh start a place no one knew her. So she went into rehab and started working several small jobs so she could afford an apartment. One day after work she was just chilling in her couch and seeing an ad for "The Search for The Next K-Pop Idol" Ariana knew Idols was a big thing in Korea and she thought it could be fun to try out. When she had moved to South Korea she had changed her name to Cheng Chimin because she didn't want an American or Chinese name here and a couple of days later after work she entered the competition not knowning if she could actually sing... It turned out she could! She was put in a group with three other girls, the group "YOONiVerse" and they won the competition and from one day to another Arianas life was changed - again. YOONiVerse became a pretty big group even touring in Europe and the North America which actually helped Ariana. When they saw how big it got and one of the other girls could feel Ariana/Cheng missed her old hom so the also got a North American tour. Funny enough one of the concerts was in her old hometown! And Ariana was so greatfull for it, these three other girls became the family she never had and she promised herself she wouldn't leave the group... But after two worldtours and a lot of music and endoserments the group split up after only three years. Ariana was crushed but two of the other girls wanted to pursue solo careers and the label didn't want a girl duo so against Ariana/Cheng and the last girls will they got solo careers too. Ariana/Cheng got used to it, she also still saw her former bandmates quite often. But after two years as a solo idol where she had got a lot of hits and even made songs on English with some American artists and had two headliner tours. Shen then spend one a half year as a judge in the same competition that had started her career after that was over she went to become a judge on the British version of the same contest, where she got the groups because the producers of the competition knew she had a lot of experience after her time in YOONiVerse and it should turn out to be a good call because one of her groups won that year! When she came back to Korea she realized she missed her old home to much. She did love her life in Korea and it had been fun being a judge on some talent shows. But it was also hard being perfect 24/7 as Idols has to. So after six years and a lot of fans worldwide and also a lot of money Ariana/Cheng moved back. With her money she bought a penthouse appartment in her old hometown and she took all her furniture from her Korean appartment with her which have given her appartment a pretty Korean vibe. Her walls is covered with pictures of YOONiVerse, her magazine covers, gold and platinum records and Korean art. She also have all her awards standing in plain sight both those got with YOONiVerse and those she got as a solo artist. Her furniture can best be described as expensive and from designers. After a while back she started to get an education to become a teacher. But seeing both YOONiVerse and Cheng Chimin had worldtours some people have started to recognize her. So far she has turned off her Korean accent and have managed to convince people she isn't Cheng Chimin but just Ariana Cheng a poort student by saying if she had all Cheng Chimins money and fame why would she study to become a teacher. And most buy it because they see she has a point. Ariana graduated her teachers exman with no problems and she started to teach at one of the locale high schools. And I promise you Ariana is a teacher like no other! She has no limits when it comes to her students and she tends to give them really bizarre compliments and touch and hug her students all the time, but except for that she is actually quite good at her job
